BEcome a MCSO Boating Safety Officer

OPerate Fully Equiped Boston Whalers

As BSOs, we spend most of our time patrolling the waters assisting and educating boaters, while being available to the deputies in an emergency.  After a few days of training, the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office provides us with a  21’ or 24’ Boston Whaler full of gas,  assigns a second BSO to the boat, and lets us navigate the waterways.  There is no better way to be on the water!  This is your opportunity to give back to the community, while spending time on the beautiful waters of Lake Havasu and the Colorado River!

We are looking for quality individuals that can meet the following requirements:

  • Is at least 18 years of age
  • Is a current U.S. citizen
